The choice of sealing gaskets for detachable plate heat exchangers depends on 
the brand of the heat exchanger and its operating conditions. For modern hot 
water and heating systems, EPDM gaskets are used. For media such as various 
mineral oils, seawater, inorganic salt solutions, and petroleum products, nitrile 
gaskets are used. For corrosive media and high temperatures, fluorine rubber gaskets are used. For high-temperature mineral oils, high-temperature water, and salt 
solutions, hydrogenated nitrile rubber gaskets are the preferred choice.
